A slim vertical tube of natural alabaster or clear glass, cradled by a metal bracket on a compact backplate — two G9 bulbs glow softly through the shade from inside. 3.1″ × 13″ (8 × 33 cm), only 4.5 cm deep. Pick stone or glass, then brass, brushed nickel, or matte black. For hallways, bedside, dining-room walls, or flanking a mirror.

Stone or glass tube

Natural alabaster for a warm diffused glow, or clear glass for a crisper light.

Three metal finishes

Slim metal bracket and backplate in brass, brushed nickel, or matte black.

Two G9 bulbs

Two G9 sockets light the tube from each end — pick LED bulbs for low heat.

Natural alabaster — each shade is one of a kind

If you pick the alabaster shade, each tube is hand-shaped from natural stone with its own veining, color shifts, and small inclusions — no two pieces look identical. Variation from photos is expected, not a defect. Email us for photos of in-stock pieces before ordering.

  • Hardwired over a standard junction box — a licensed electrician is recommended. Bulbs not included.
  • Mounts vertically as shown. Install in pairs to flank a mirror, headboard, or art; allow 24–30″ between the two centers for symmetry.
  • Use two G9 bulbs, max 40W each. We recommend LED bulbs — much cooler than halogen, important next to a stone or glass shade.
  • Indoor and dry locations only (IP20). Safe in damp vanity areas away from shower spray; not rated for wet zones.
  • The alabaster shade is softer than marble and can chip if dropped — handle gently during install. Dust with a dry, soft cloth; no water or solvents on the stone. Clear glass shade can be wiped with a damp cloth and dried.

Alabaster or glass — which should I pick?

Alabaster diffuses light through natural stone for a warm, soft glow — and each tube is one of a kind. Clear glass gives a brighter, crisper light and reads more minimal. Match alabaster to warm, layered interiors; glass to modern or industrial rooms.

Which finish should I pick?

Brass pairs warmly with wood, cream, and classic interiors. Brushed nickel reads cooler — good with marble, greys, or coastal palettes. Matte black gives high contrast against light walls. Pair two sconces of the same finish for symmetry.

What bulbs does it take?

Two G9 base bulbs, max 40W each (or LED equivalent), not included. We recommend a warm-white LED G9 — soft glow, low heat. Skip halogen G9 if the shade is alabaster.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

In dry or damp areas only — beside a vanity mirror, away from shower or tub spray. The sconce is IP20 (indoor/dry), not waterproof. Confirm your local code before installing in a bathroom.

How fragile is the alabaster?

Softer than marble and can chip if dropped. Handle the tube gently during install; once mounted, the sconce is as stable as any other wall fixture. 2-year warranty across wiring, socket, and finish; email support with photos within 7 days of delivery for transit damage.

CASAI Lighting

"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.

Natural Character
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate
