The Palmyra Alabaster Globe & Brass Palm Wall Sconce crowns a glowing orb of natural stone with a hand-shaped palm-leaf flourish — part botanical, part jewel. Beneath a slender arched arm, a sphere of genuine natural alabaster hangs like ripe fruit, while a fan of metal leaves unfurls above it like the crown of a little brass pineapple. It's the rare sconce that feels both tropical and timeless. By day, the alabaster globe rests as a pale, marbled stone bead against the warm metal — a quiet sculpture on the wall. Switched on, light glows softly from inside the stone, and the cloud-like veining comes alive in a warm, honeyed wash.

Built to be grouped or stood alone, Palmyra comes in one, two, and three-globe widths and in warm brass or cool brushed nickel — so a single sconce can frame a doorway, a pair can flank a mirror, and a three-light bar can crown a vanity.

Natural Alabaster

Naturally Unique Veining

No two pieces of stone are ever the same

Alabaster is a natural stone, so every piece carries its own veining and subtle variation in color. The fixture you receive may therefore differ slightly from the images shown.

Good to Know

Natural stone varies from piece to piece

Spanish alabaster is a natural stone, so every globe has its own mineral veining and subtle color variation. The piece you receive will differ slightly from the photos — this is inherent to real stone, not a defect.

Choose your width

Available as a 1-, 2-, or 3-light sconce. A single globe flanks a doorway or mirror (elegant in pairs); the 2- and 3-light bars are made to crown a vanity. Pick the width that suits your wall.

Bulbs & installation

The sconce takes standard G9 bulbs (one per globe); we recommend warm-white G9 LEDs for the softest glow through the alabaster. It hardwires to a standard wall switch — switch not included. For dry indoor locations only.

Size Guide

Which Size for Your Space

Three widths — a single globe, a balanced pair, or a full three-light bar — each crowned with the signature palm-leaf flourish.

1 Light
∅ 5.5″ × H 10.4″ Dia 14 × H 26.5 cm
Best forBeside a doorway · powder room · flanking a bed or mirror in a pair
Bulb1 × G9

Mount two — one on each side of a mirror — for a balanced look.

2 LightPopular
∅ 14.8″ × H 10.4″ Dia 37.5 × H 26.5 cm
Best forAbove a standard vanity · over a bathroom mirror · hallway feature
Bulb2 × G9

Center it on the mirror, not the whole wall.

3 Light
∅ 24″ × H 10.4″ Dia 61 × H 26.5 cm
Best forCrowning a wide double vanity · large mirror · statement hallway
Bulb3 × G9

Best over a 36″+ vanity or a wide mirror.

Sizing Tip

For a vanity or mirror, size by the fixture's width against the mirror: aim for a light that spans roughly two-thirds to three-quarters of the mirror's width. All three heights are the same (10.4″), so you're really choosing how wide you want the glow — a single globe to flank, a 2-light for a standard vanity, or the 24″-wide 3-light to crown a large one. When in doubt, size up.

The design

A Little Wildness, Beautifully Kept

Where stone meets a crown of leaves.

The Palmera Spanish Alabaster Wall Sconce began with a playful idea: what if a light could feel like something growing? A globe of Spanish alabaster hangs like ripe fruit beneath a slender arched arm, and above it, a fan of hand-shaped metal leaves opens like the crown of a little pineapple. It's botanical and architectural at once — a piece with a sense of humor and a sense of history.

That contrast is the whole charm. The leaf crown brings old-world, tropical glamour — the kind you'd find in a grand hotel lobby or a sun-warmed conservatory — while the stone keeps it grounded and quiet. Lit, the alabaster glows softly from within, its mineral veining coming alive in a warm, honeyed wash; unlit, the globe rests as a pale marbled bead against the metal, sculptural in daylight. It's decorative without ever being loud.

Why this sconce

Tropical Character, Timeless Stone

A crown of metal leaves over a glowing globe of alabaster — decorative without ever being loud.

01

A Sculptural Palm-Leaf Crown

Above each globe, a fan of hand-shaped metal leaves opens like the crown of a little pineapple — a playful, old-world flourish that turns an ordinary sconce into a conversation piece. It brings the tropical glamour of a grand hotel lobby to a modern wall.

02

Three Widths, Two Finishes

Choose a 1-, 2-, or 3-light width — a single globe to flank a mirror, a pair for a standard vanity, or a 24″ three-light bar to crown a wide one — in warm brass or cool brushed nickel to match your palette.

03

Made to Last, Made to Flatter

Natural stone won't yellow under the light, and the warm metal finish hides fingerprints rather than collecting them — ideal above a bathroom vanity, where its soft, even glow is beautifully flattering in the mirror. For dry indoor locations.

Why Alabaster & Metal

What real stone and solid metal give you that glass, acrylic, and chrome can't.

Alabaster + Metal Glass / Acrylic / Chrome
The light A soft amber glow — light spreads inside the stone globe, so there's no harsh bright spot A bright point of light; you often see the bulb, and acrylic can glare
Switched off Pale marbled globes read as sculpture, even unlit Glass looks empty and shows dust; acrylic looks like plastic
Uniquen
ess
Mineral veining decided by nature — no two globes alike Machine-molded — every unit is identical
The metal Warm, matte brass or nickel that hides fingerprints Mirror chrome bounces light back and shows every mark
Over time Stone and metal keep their character for decades Acrylic yellows and scratches; glass chips
In the hand Cool, smooth stone with real weight Lightweight and hollow-feeling
Questions, Answered

Common Questions

Are the globes real alabaster?
Yes. Every globe is carved from genuine natural Spanish alabaster — never resin, glass, or acrylic. Because it's real stone, each globe has its own mineral veining and slight color variation, which is the mark of authenticity, not a defect.
What finishes does the metal come in?
The palm-leaf crown, arm, and backplate come in two finishes — warm brass or cool brushed nickel. Each is a warm or matte tone rather than a mirror one, so it sits quietly with the stone and hides fingerprints instead of collecting them.
Is it hardwired, and does it come with a bulb?
This wall lamp features a hardwired design. It uses standard G9 bulbs — one per globe, sold separately. We recommend warm-white G9 LED bulbs for the softest glow through the alabaster shade. If you'd like to dim it, simply use dimmable G9 bulbs on a compatible dimmer switch.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
It's rated for dry indoor locations only. It's perfect above a vanity or beside a mirror in a well-ventilated bathroom, but should not be installed where it may be splashed or exposed to steam and moisture, such as directly over a shower or tub.
Which width should I choose?
The 1-light (∅ 5.5″) is ideal to flank a doorway or mirror (elegant in pairs); the 2-light (∅ 14.8″) suits a standard vanity; and the 3-light (∅ 24″) is made to crown a wide double vanity or large mirror. All three are the same height.
Will the stone yellow or fade?
Natural alabaster keeps its color for decades and won't yellow under the light or give off odors — unlike acrylic, which yellows and scratches with age.
How do I clean it?
Wipe both the globes and the metal gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads — alabaster is a porous natural stone.

CASAI Lighting

"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.

Natural Character
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate
