A cluster alabaster sconce — translucent hand-carved alabaster globes joined by slim brass ball-joints in a molecular cluster, each globe glowing warm with a soft halo behind. Mounts on a wall or ceiling, horizontal or vertical. Six layouts, from a 19.7″ row to a 39.4″ tall cluster. G9 per globe, bulbs included. For hallways, stairwells, vanities, and living rooms.

Molecular globe cluster

Alabaster globes linked by brass ball-joints in an organic cluster — sculptural lit or unlit.

Translucent alabaster

Each globe is hand-carved natural stone that glows warm, with veining showing softly when lit.

Wall or ceiling · G9

Mounts horizontal or vertical, on a wall or ceiling. One G9 per globe, bulbs included.

Layout

Horizontal rows for a wide wall or vanity, or vertical clusters for a tall, dramatic run.

Wall or ceiling

Dual-mount — the same fixture installs flat on a wall or on the ceiling.

About natural alabaster

Each globe is hand-carved from natural alabaster, a translucent stone. Veining, cloudy banding, and slight color variation differ piece to piece, and the globes in one cluster will not match exactly — the glow may look a touch uneven where the stone is denser. These are core characteristics of natural alabaster, not defects.

Layout Orientation Imperial (L × H) Metric (L × H)
Row — small Horizontal 19.7″ × 11″ 50 × 28 cm
Row — medium Horizontal 28.3″ × 11″ 72 × 28 cm
Row — long Horizontal 37.4″ × 11″ 95 × 28 cm
Cluster — short Vertical 13.8″ × 17.7″ 35 × 45 cm
Cluster — tall Vertical 15″ × 29.5″ 38 × 75 cm
Cluster — extra tall Vertical 15″ × 39.4″ 38 × 100 cm

Globe count varies by layout — see each size option for the exact number of alabaster globes.

📏 Projection — same on all sizes

Once installed, the fixture projects 12 cm / 4.7″ from the wall or ceiling, whether it's a horizontal row or a vertical cluster.

  • Hardwired install — a licensed electrician is recommended. Mounts over a standard US junction box; works on a wall or ceiling.
  • Choose the orientation on install — horizontal rows read wide, vertical clusters read tall. Mount the backplate level so the cluster sits as intended.
  • Projects 12 cm / 4.7″ from the wall or ceiling once installed, the same across all six sizes.
  • Each globe takes one G4 bulb, included and replaceable; a 2700K warm-white G4 LED gives the warmest, most even glow across the cluster.
  • Dimmable with compatible dimmable G4 bulbs and a wall dimmer (not included).
  • Alabaster is a natural translucent stone — veining, cloudy banding, and slightly uneven glow are core characteristics of the material, not flaws. The globes in one cluster won't match exactly, which is expected with natural stone.
  • Indoor dry locations only (IP20); keep clear of direct water, as alabaster is porous and absorbs moisture.

How is this different from the alabaster cluster chandelier and the single-globe sconces?

It shares the alabaster-globe look but sits flat on a wall or ceiling rather than hanging. The Cluster Alabaster Chandelier hangs from the ceiling as a pendant; the Globe and Tube Alabaster Sconces are single-shade wall lights. This Cluster Sconce is a multi-globe molecular cluster mounted flush, horizontal or vertical. Pick it when you want the globe-cluster look on a wall or ceiling, not hanging down.

Which layout and size should I choose?

Horizontal rows (19.7″–37.4″ wide) suit a vanity, a sofa wall, or above a console. Vertical clusters (17.7″–39.4″ tall) make a dramatic accent in a stairwell, entry, or beside a tall mirror. Globe count varies by layout. Email us  the wall dimensions and we'll help you choose.

Are the globes glass or stone, and will they all match?

Natural alabaster — translucent stone, not glass. Because each globe is hand-carved from natural stone, the globes in one cluster won't match exactly: veining, cloudy banding, and the evenness of the glow vary piece to piece. That variation is the character of alabaster, not a flaw.

What bulbs does it use, are they included, and is it dimmable?

One G9 bulb per globe, all included. A 2700K warm-white G9 LED gives the warmest, most even glow across the cluster. Dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer (sold separately).

Can I install it in a bathroom, and what's the warranty?

Over a vanity away from direct spray, yes — it's rated IP20 for indoor dry locations, so keep it clear of shower or tub spray. Alabaster is porous and absorbs moisture. 2-year warranty on the fixture and wiring; G9 bulbs are standard replaceable parts. Email suppor for help — we reply within one business day.

CASAI Lighting

"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.

Natural Character
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate
