A single bar of alabaster, roughly 7 cm wide and 8 cm tall, runs the full length of the fixture with no visible seams. It's carved from Spanish alabaster — 100% imported from Spain — and its natural veining glows warm and even once lit. Two fine wires suspend it from the ceiling, so the bar appears to float rather than hang. At 100 or 120 cm long, it works well centered over a dining table, along a kitchen island, or above a long desk.

Yes — it's a hardwired fixture that should be installed by a licensed electrician. It connects to a standard junction box and works with any common wall switch (not included).
The 100 cm bar weighs about 6.5 kg, and the 120 cm bar about 7.5 kg — real solid stone, not a lightweight shell. Both wires should anchor to a junction box or ceiling structure rated for that weight, not drywall alone.
The standard fixture ships with a fixed 3000K warm LED that is not dimmable. A Triac-dimmable warm-light version is available as a custom order — contact us and we'll set it up.
