Natural variation in alabaster — milky white is not a defect Alabaster patterns range from pure milky-white to dramatic grey or amber veining. A mostly white piece is a sign of high-purity stone, not a defect. Veining is formed naturally and cannot be controlled. If your project requires specific patterns, contact us before ordering.
