Odin Alabaster Wall Sconce — Spanish stone, brushed brass, capsule light.

Two alabaster capsules — hand-selected from natural Spanish alabaster — are set into a single brushed brass backplate, their rounded ends extending beyond the plate edge, their surfaces glowing from within with the warm, veined translucency that only natural stone produces. The Odin is a fixture of considered restraint: no superfluous detail, no decorative ornament beyond the material itself. Spanish alabaster and brushed brass are among the most refined combinations in contemporary luxury lighting — this is both.

Natural Spanish alabaster — each sconce is singular

The alabaster used in the Odin is quarried from natural deposits in Spain — one of the world's most prized sources for this stone. Vein patterns, amber tonal warmth, and surface translucency differ between individual pieces. The product you receive will not look identical to the display images; it will be its own — a direct expression of the stone's unrepeatable character.

Spanish Alabaster

Quarried natural alabaster from Spain — warm, veined, translucent. Among the finest alabaster sources in the world.

Brushed Brass Backplate

Solid brass backplate in brushed antique finish — warm, aged metal that deepens over time.

Dual Capsule Form

Two rounded capsules extending beyond the plate — sculptural, symmetrical, and quietly commanding.

Antique Brass — Mottled Patina
Irregular aged bronze-gold tone with a mottled, weathered texture · echoes the alabaster's amber veins

Black — Matte
Bold contrast against the ivory alabaster · contemporary & dramatic

Warm Light 3000K Default

The amber-warm tone deepens the natural honey and gold veins of the Spanish alabaster — the most flattering temperature for this stone and the standard choice for luxury residential interiors.

Neutral White (4000K) and Cool White (6000K) are available as custom orders. Contact our team and we will reply within 24 hours.

Integrated LED — non-replaceable, no bulb needed

The Odin uses a built-in LED light engine, factory-set and fixed at manufacture — there is no bulb to select or replace. The warm-white LED is tuned to pass through the alabaster and deepen its amber veining into the full, rich glow this fixture is designed to produce. Both 12W configurations are integrated LED; light output is rated at 1000 lm (S) and 1400 lm (L), with an expected lifespan of 30,000+ hours under normal use.

What makes Spanish alabaster different from other alabaster?

Spanish alabaster — primarily quarried in Aragon and other regions of Spain — is prized internationally for its exceptional translucency, the warmth of its amber and honey-toned veining, and its dense, even grain that holds light particularly well. It has been used in European ecclesiastical and architectural lighting for centuries. The natural variation between pieces is more pronounced than in manufactured materials, making each fixture genuinely singular.

Why does the stone look different from the photos?

Natural alabaster is quarried stone. Every block has its own vein pattern, tonal distribution, and translucency depth. The photographs show representative examples — not guarantees of exact appearance. Your sconce will have the same form and dimensions, and the same quality of material. What will differ is the specific pattern the stone carries. This is not a defect; it is the nature of working with natural material at this level.

Which size should I choose?

The S (H 25.5 cm) suits rooms with standard ceiling heights of 240 cm or more — bedside walls, dressing rooms, corridors, and bathroom vanities. The L (H 50 cm) creates a more commanding presence and is suited to foyers, living rooms, and stairwells with ceiling heights of 260 cm or above. Both produce sufficient ambient light for accent and mood — the L at 1400 lm is notably brighter and functions well as a primary wall light in a medium room.

Antique Bronze or Black frame?

The Antique Bronze (mottled patina) finish complements the natural amber warmth of Spanish alabaster — it is the more sympathetic pairing, where the metal's irregular aged tone and the stone read as part of the same warm palette. It suits classical, transitional, and warm-contemporary interiors. The Black (matte) finish creates a deliberate contrast — the dark backplate makes the glowing alabaster capsules read as objects floating against the wall. It suits contemporary, minimalist, and architectural interiors where contrast is a design intention.

Is the Odin certified for North America and Europe?

Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.

CASAI Lighting

"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.

Natural Character
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate
