Switch off power at the breaker and confirm the wires are dead with a voltage tester. Hold the sconce to the wall and mark your mounting height — center about 48–52″ from the floor beside a bed. Handle the natural stone bars gently.
Safety first — if unsure about wiring, hire a qualified electrician.Secure the brass-finish backplate to a standard US wall junction box, using suitable wall anchors if needed. Check it sits perfectly level and vertical before wiring.
