Cary Alabaster Linear Pendant Light

The Cary Linear Pendant carves a full meter of natural Spanish alabaster — 100% imported from Spain — into one continuous glowing bar, capped at each end by a blackened or polished brass block and hung level from two slim cables. The integrated warm 3000K LED lights the stone along its entire length, so the bar reads as a single beam of mineral light over the table, veining drifting across it like cloud. Two lengths — L 100 cm (39.4″) and L 120 cm (47.2″), both just 8 cm tall — are scaled for dining tables, kitchen islands, conference tables, and long counters, with a Triac-dimmable version available for rooms that live at more than one brightness.

Spanish Alabaster Bar

A continuous stone beam, 100% imported from Spain — lit end to end.

Linear Dining Scale

100 or 120 cm long, 8 cm slim — made for tables and islands.

Dimmable Option

Default warm 3000K; Triac-dimmable version available.

Natural Spanish Stone — Each Piece Is Unique

Every bar is cut from natural alabaster quarried in Spain. Veining and tone vary from piece to piece, so your pendant will differ from the photos shown — this variation is the character of genuine stone, not a defect.

Default — Warm 3000K

Fixed warm light with a common on/off wall switch. Not dimmable.

Triac Dimmable — Warm 3000K

Dims smoothly from full brightness to a low glow with a Triac wall dimmer.

EnvironmentIndoor use

  • Hardwired ceiling installation — a licensed electrician is recommended.
  • The bar weighs 8 kg (L 100) or 9.8 kg (L 120): anchor both ceiling points to junction boxes or structure rated well above that load — never drywall alone.
  • Twin 59″ cables adjust independently so the bar hangs perfectly level; they can be extended upon request before shipping.
  • Integrated LED — no bulb installation needed. If the LED module is ever damaged, contact us for a replacement.
  • For the dimmable version, install a compatible Triac wall dimmer (not included).
  • Handle the alabaster bar with two people and avoid impact — natural stone can chip.
  • For indoor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms or damp locations.

Where does the alabaster come from?

The bar is cut from natural alabaster that is 100% imported from Spain — the same Spanish stone prized in fine lighting for its warm tone and translucency. It is genuine quarried stone, not resin or faux-alabaster glass.

Is the Cary dimmable?

Two versions are offered. The default is a fixed warm 3000K light on a common on/off wall switch. The Triac-dimmable version dims smoothly when paired with a compatible Triac wall dimmer — see the dimmer link above. Choose the version at checkout; contact us if unsure and we will reply within 24 hours.

Which length should I choose for my table?

A linear pendant looks best at roughly half to two-thirds of your table's length. The L 100 cm suits tables around 160–200 cm (63–79″) and most kitchen islands; the L 120 cm carries tables of 200 cm and longer, and conference tables.

Can I replace the LED?

Yes — the LED module is replaceable. Nothing needs changing in normal use, since quality LEDs of this type are rated for tens of thousands of hours; and if the LED is ever damaged, contact us and we will arrange a replacement module — we reply within 24 hours.

Does the bar need special ceiling support?

Yes — the stone bar weighs 8 kg (L 100) or 9.8 kg (L 120), so both suspension points must be anchored to junction boxes or ceiling structure rated well above that load, never drywall alone. A licensed electrician can confirm and reinforce the mounting points during installation.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

No — this fixture is designed for dry indoor locations only and should not be installed in bathrooms, above sinks, or in covered outdoor areas where it could be exposed to moisture.

Why does my pendant look different from the product photos?

The bar is natural Spanish stone, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece — across a full meter of stone, that drift is part of the design. No two Cary pendants are exactly alike; this is the character of real alabaster, not a defect.

Is the Cary certified for North America and Europe?

Yes. It holds certifications compatible with North America, Saudi Arabia, Europe, and Australia and operates on AC 110–240V worldwide.

CASAI Lighting

"Alabaster does not merely hold light — it breathes with it, casting a warmth that cannot be manufactured, only discovered."
Formed through millions of years of slow crystallisation, alabaster is among the world's most ancient decorative stones. When illuminated, it yields a quiet, golden luminosity — gentle, organic, irreducibly human. Our collection exists to honour that rarity, designing forms that allow the stone to speak without interruption.

Natural Character
No two stones
are ever alike.
Alabaster carries within it a geological autobiography — millions of years compressed into veining, crystalline structures, and tonal shifts that no craftsman could plan or replicate
